Insurances
Currently accepting BCBS of IL, Cigna, Humana (Iifesync), Magellan, Wellpoint
BH and EAP, ValueOptions, Aetna, United Behavioral Health, UnitedHealthCare
Tricare (North) and Health Net. These are the only insurances that I accept.
Please contact your insurance carrier to request this provided be added to your
carrier.
When you use your insurance for mental health you must be given a psychiatric
diagnosis (depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc). This diagnosis become a
permanent part of your record. The insurance companies determine which
diagnosis warrant treatment and how many sessions you can receive. There are
many people I see who may not warrant a diagnosis. An example would be a
couple having marital issues which insurance companies will not cover. I don't
believe this should keep them from seeing a therapist to help them improve
some aspect of their life and reach your highest potential.
If you would like to be reimbursed by your insurance company, I will be happy to
provided you a weekly invoice of services received so that it can be submitted by
you.
