About Us
Tom Heroldt
Education and Training
Tom earned his undergrad from Loyola University
while attending Niles College which was the college
seminary for the Archdioceses of Chicago. He
worked as a teacher for three years before heading
back to school to study addictions. After working in
the field of addictions for a number of years Tom
returned to school and earned his master degree in
counseling from Roosevelt University. He is now part
of the faculty at Roosevelt teaching a number of
graduate level classes.
Fox Valley Counseling
Tom is a licensed clinical professional
counselor as well as a certified alcohol and
other drug counselor. Tom has worked in the
field treating a variety of problems for a
number of years. He brings compassion
and caring to his sessions. Tom also uses
humor as a way to engage his clients and to
earn their trust. Building a strong trusting
relationship with his clients is the first goal of
any successful relationship.
